The Information Department under the Prime Minister’s Office yesterday appointed nine representatives among government departments and the private sector for the distribution of Pelita Brunei in the Temburong District, in a bid to make it easy for the public to get copies of the official newspaper.
The nine locations are Government Lodges (Rumah Persinggahan Kerajaan), Bangar Boat and Passenger Terminal, Land Transport Department building, foyer (Ruang Legar), Pengiran Isteri Hajah Maryam Hospital, the Department of Schools building, the Bumiputra Complex, the Community Hall, Mukim Bokok, DTB Cooperative shop, Mukim Amo and Negalang Maju Ltd Co filling station.
In conjunction with that, a certificate presentation ceremony was held for the newly appointed representatives of Pelita Brunei at the Main Hall of the Bumiputra Complex.
The certificates were presented by Director of Information, Dr Hj Muhammad Hadi Melayong. Also in attendance were the Temburong District Acting Officer, penghulus and village heads, as well as officers and staff of the Information Department.
